Lola Gillebaard was born and raised in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.  She graduated from Salem College, taught high school English before marrying Hank and eventually settled in California to raise four sons.  Lola is an associate college professor, professional keynote speaker, a Reader’s digest awarded free-lance writer, wife and mother who has always touched peoples funny bone.

Hank Gillebaard was born in Detroit, Michigan but grew up in Amsterdam, Holland:  Entrepreneur, artist, Rotarian past president, and US Airforce veteran.  Hank has grown numerous companies from the ground up to million dollar successes.  This ace pilot flew his own airplanes through the Laguna Beach canyons just because he could, tipping his wings at Lola as he flew by.

Neither Lola nor Hank are credentialed marriage counselors.  They both believe that experts in relationship problems can always be of help, whether that person is a pastor in your church or a professional marriage counselor.  Their knowledge comes from good old-fashioned experience in their own marriage, plus their observation of marriages among friends and family.
