BIO
Lola Gillebaard is a rare and remarkable combination of a comedienne, professional speaker, and an extraordinary storyteller.
“Outstanding! Excellent! Inspirational!” These words are heard over and over again about this funny lady. Raised in North Carolina, Lola gives a Southern charm to her clean, original, real-life comedy.
Lola has been featured at several L.A. Improvs. She has shared the platform with many celebrities, including Vicki Lawrence of “The Carol Burnett Show”. In October, Lola will be the emcee for a fundraiser in which Bill Cosby will be the featured entertainer.
As an author, Lola has been published in the L. A. Times numerously and has received the prestigious Reader’s Digest Award for best short story writing.
Whether speaking to eight thousand at the Central California’s women’s convention, or to hundreds at Tenet Healthcare, Lola touches the heart, soul, and funny bone of everyone in the audience.
